Stonehouse Farm is in a beautiful Grade II listed building, full of character and history. The nursery is set over two floors, offering light, bright, well-appointed activity rooms for children aged from three months to five years.
On the first floor are three separate rooms for babies, aged 0-2 years. The baby unit is semi-open plan and designed to encourage physical development and socialisation, with quiet zones and sleeping cribs.
The ground floor is where our toddlers (aged 2-3 years) are based in four separate rooms, all filled with resources that are both challenging and interesting, all stored in a way that encourages independent learning.
Our newly built pre-school room gives our pre-school children, aged 3-5 years, direct access to the stunning gardens and a host of equipment designed for outdoor play.
Bathrooms and changing areas are open and bright with child sized toilets and basins fixed at a level to encourage success and independence.
The nursery is surrounded by extensive gardens, with plenty of spaces to hide, run and dig. There is a castle to ambush and tractor to drive, providing children with a unique backdrop for role play opportunities.
We've also got a treehouse perched high in the branches of a tree that provides a space to sit with a book or a friend.
Our edible beds give the children an insight into planting, growing and harvesting, and give our cook plenty of fresh vegetables for lunch...the chickens like them too!
Our newest asset is our amazing new Forest School, located on the outskirts of Birmingham. Here our children get to experience the wonders of nature and the outdoors in a truly natural setting. Find out more about Forest School here.
